Date within my race, mileage can be overcome. A pen pal or "friend" only I do not care to be. I do realize any relationship begins with dating and friendship. My sincere goal is to find a wonderful gentleman who pledges to be my life time partner just as I am. I would pledge the same in return. To care for and cherish each other until the last Sun Sets. If in a committed relationship I would be willing to discuss relocation. I am a good woman with a good heart.

I am a happy person, fun loving, gregarious, creative, enjoy people, cooking with someone, no drama, love animals especially dogs and horses. I am comfortable in a city or out in the country. Can drive a stick shift :), giving parties, going to parties or just having a less social life, reading, listening to music, fire places, fire pit, fish: do not enjoy doing it and do not eat them. Love being out of doors - forests, beaches, rock formations, caverns - sleeping in a tent by a brook or river. Love love Hawaii - after 4 1/2 years living there I left kicking, screaming and sobbing as I saw what I thought was my last view of the islands through the airplane window. Was back many, many times. Kauai is my favorite island. Have traveled overseas extensively (Europe & Asia) and lived in two 3rd world countries in one of which I gave birth to my daughter. A very interesting life with lots of stories and photos when I find them.

My 2 children are grown and married. One gave me 2 grandchildren and the other gave me 3 furry grand children. I love them all. However they do not live near me so i see them seldom. That is difficult for me. Living alone with my wonderful dog (rescue). Elderly, becoming deaf and blind but hand signals and creative sounds that vibrate help us keep in contact. She is in pretty good health although getting her hind wheels up is at times problematic for her. Have had donkeys, Shetland pony, Mexican horse and finally a finally a thoroughbred. Have had Norweigan Elkhounds and Japanese Akitas.

En ideel første date ville være

I am "old school" - the gentleman should decide the first date. Of course it should be conducive to getting to know about each other. I am not opposed to meeting at a location that is half way between our respective locations should that make the most sense. Example: Folks in Houston could be met in Columbus. Folks from Austin can meet me in San Marcos. I do not necessarily expect the gentleman to carry the burden all the time. It would be an ebb and flow.

Something that happens unexpectedly
Beach, under Palm tree, lovely breeze, beautiful clear, clear shades of blue water (not the Gulf Coast)
Boating.. walking "hiking sort of" mountain trails in the Rocky or Smokey Mts. So beautiful.
A beautiful, dress up restaurant for a lovely dinner following a fabulous a visit to the theater.
A yummy picnic and favorite liquids, lots of sunscreen and a hat while boating on a beautiful lake. It wears you out. Traveling to a city that has many sites to see that tie into history. Did the Missippi River Road trip with a great girl friend and such a great time. Learned so much and bought too many books. :) A two night stay in a cabin in Lost Maples that overlooks the river from a bluff during the peak of the fall season. fire pit at night. Stars and maybe full moon. There are many ways to have fun expensive or not - Just a day trip drive - rent a convertible - could be great in the spring when flowers are out or in the fall.

No mustache/beards are a turn off. The "scruff look" is fine. Quite a bit taller than myself. I would not be happy with a obese gentleman - Loving, loyal, open, helpful, intimate, co-partner, conversationalist, affectionate, trustworthy, financially secure, a good hearted person, Christian hopefully, loves to give surprises (little ones count), willing to tell me when something is bothering him. good health, likes people, not too shy, can make decisions, loves life and looks for ways to enhance that even if it is to feed the ducks. Kindness, good heart, interested in travel. Love(s/d) his mother. Retired military ok. Varied interests. An open book to life and thinks creatively about how you can get more out of life.
Happy. Focused. Considers himself successful regardless of what that means to him. Shows me he loves me, tells me he loves me. Does not debate the old adage "in love" and "love". (Commitment vows do not say "will you be in love ...... with this person). Christian marriage but not as civil one without looking carefully at the financial game change that would mean for each person. I am not a one night stand and if you are then respectfully forget me please. The kind of relationship I am seeking obviously include all of the 4 I have checked below.
